खुद को कमजोर या पापी न मानें- आत्मविश्वास बढ़ाने के लिए जरूरी है कि कभी भी ऐसी सोच खुद के लिए न बनाएं कि मैं परेशान, कमजोर, पापी, दु:खी, शक्तिहीन हूं। कुछ भी करने की ताकत नहीं रखता, क्योंकि वेदान्त भूल को मानता है, पाप को नहीं। इसलिए ऐसी बातें सोचना भी भूल ही है। इसलिए खुद को शेर मानकर जिएं न कि भेड़। 

संयम- इंसानियत सबसे बड़ा धर्म है। इंसान बनने के लिए सबसे पहला कदम है- खुद पर काबू रखना यानी संयम। ऐसा करने वाले पर किसी भी बाहरी चीज या व्यक्तियों का असर नहीं होता। इससे ही धीरज, सेवा, शुद्धता, शांति, आज्ञा मानने, इंद्रिय संयम व मेहनत के भाव पनपते हैं।इन बातों से तनाव कम, प्रेम ज्यादा और काम बेहतर होगा। सूत्र यही है कि पहले खुद मनुष्य बनों फिर दूसरों को मनुष्य बनाने में मदद करो। शासन करने के बजाए पहले खुद अनुशासित रहने की सोच रखें। लड़कियां भी सीता-सावित्री की तरह पवित्र जीवन जिएं। 

उम्मीद न छोड़ें- निराश न हों। हमेशा खुश रहें। मुस्कराते रहना देव उपासना की तुलना में भगवान के ज्यादा करीब ले जाता है।

 

निडरता- स्वामी विवेकानंद के मुताबिक हर इंसान की एक बार ही मृत्यु होती है। इसलिए मेरा कोई बड़ा काम करने के लिए जन्म हुआ है। यह सोचकर बिना किसी से डरे, बिना किसी कायरता के चाहे वज्रपात भी हो तो अपने काम में साहस के साथ लगे रहें। अपने पैरों पर खड़े हों- किस्मत के भरोसे न बैठे, बल्कि पुरुषार्थ यानी मेहनत के दम पर खुद की किस्मत बनाएं। खड़े हो जाओ, साहसी बनो और शक्तिमान बनो।

इस सूत्र वाक्य के जरिए यही रास्ता बताया कि खुद जिम्मेदारी उठाओ। सारी शक्ति खुद के पास है, इसलिए खुद ही अपने सबसे बड़े मददगार हो। दरअसल, जो आज है वह पिछले जन्म में किए कामों को नतीजा है। इसलिए बेहतर कल के लिए आज के काम नियत करें। इस तरह अपना भविष्य बनाना आपके हाथ में हैं। 

स्वार्थी नहीं सेवक बनें- प्रेम जिंदगी व स्वार्थ मृत्यु है। इसलिए जिनको सेवा करने की चाहत हैं वे सारे स्वार्थ, खुशी, गम, नाम व यश की चाहतों की पोटली बनाकर समुद्र में फेंक दें। इस तरह सेवा के लिए त्याग व त्याग के लिए स्वार्थ छोड़ना जरूरी है। मतलब निस्वार्थ होने से ही धर्म की परख होती है। 

 

आत्मशक्ति को पहचाने और जगाएं- नाकामियों से बेचैन होने या थोड़ी सी कामयाबी से संतुष्ट होकर बैठने के बजाए लगातार आगे बढें। स्वामीजी का सूत्र वाक्य उठो, जागो और लक्ष्य पाने तक नहीं रुको, यही सबक देता है, जो आत्मशक्ति को जगाने से मुमकिन है। आत्मशक्ति को जगाने के लिए बाहरी और भीतरी चेतना को कर्म, उपासना, संयम व ज्ञान में कोई भी एक या सभी को जरिया बना वश में करें। इसे ही जिंदगी का अहम लक्ष्य मानकर आत्मानो मोक्षार्यं जगद्धिताय च" की भावना के साथ खुद के साथ दूसरों को भी जीवन की सार्थकता और मुक्ति की राह बताएं।
