CAT Notification 2016

CAT Notification 2016 Online Registration CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national level examination conducted by the IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) based on the policy of rotation. This is a computer based test comprised in the quantitative ability, verbal ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning. The CAT score is being followed by the IIMs, IITs, NITs, Faculty of Management Study and Indian Institutes of Science.

All those institutes offer the Postgraduate Business Administration Programme through the CAT examination. The CAT 2016 will be conducted during the November month of year 2016 but the notification of the examination and other essential details will be issued in the July 2016. On the basis of CAT 2016 percentile admission will be given to the candidates in the management programs of IIM’s.

Eligibility norms for CAT 2016

The CAT aspirants are requested to check if all the criteria prescribed under are being fulfilled before they proceed to make the registration.

 Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline.

 Candidates should have managed a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for reserved categories and differently abled).

 The candidates studying in the final year of graduation are also eligible for CAT 2016 but they have to qualify the same with given eligibility criteria.

CAT Registration Fee

For general and the OBC candidates the registration fee is Rs 1600/.

And for the SC/ST and physically disabled Candidates the registration fee is Rs 800/.

Selection Procedure :-  Common Aptitude Test i.e. CAT after shortlisting in CAT the Candidates will be asked for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Registration process for CAT 2016

The registration process will be start for the CAT 2016 in August 2016 through the online mode only on the official website of the CAT 2016. After login the official website page, candidates must fill the important details in the application form and pick the 3 cities of their choice. The applicants will be allotted any one of their chosen centers after the last date of registration.
