BSF Syllabus I Phase 2016 :-BSF issues the Syllabus and Pattern Of Exam for the
posts of ASI (RM) and HC(RO) under New pension scheme as
per Central Civil Services (extra ordinary pension) amendment rules
2003.

filled by qualified aspirants. BSF Will conduct the examinations for the
appliers to select the appropriate aspirants for these posts. For making
preparations for the examinations the BSF has decided the study material for
the appliers.
Now in these days the Competition level is very tough. But
the Candidates fight these tests by the help of Syllabus 2016 which has
been released over site with notification 2016. The appliers should download
this for their better preparations for the upcoming examinations.

Descriptive Written Test :- 18 December 2016

Syllabus 2016 for First Phase Written Examination (OMR Based
Screening Test )
Exam Pattern :-
The total duration for the written test will be 02 Hours.
The Question Papers will be of OMR Based Objective Type with
Multiple Choices.
The Question Paper will be bilingual i.e. in both languages
Hindi and English.
In Question Papers there will be 100 Questions each of 02
Marks.
The total Marks for Written Test will be 200.
The Question of 02 Marks each the 0.50 Marks will be
deducted for Wrong Answer…
There will be four parts in the Question Paper Of Written
Exam…
Request for Re-evolution of OMR Sheets will not be
considered.
Part I Physics (50 Marks) :- The Standard Of
the Questions will be from 10+2 / Intermediate Of CBSE / State Board Of
Education.
Part II Mathematics (50 Marks) :- The
Standard Of the Questions will be from 10+2 / Intermediate Of CBSE / State
Board Of Education.
Part III Chemistry (50 Marks) :- The Standard Of
the Questions will be from 10+2 / Intermediate Of CBSE / State Board Of
Education.
Part IV English & GK (50 Marks) :- The
Questions will be asked from Current Affairs, History, Geography and General
Science.
Qualifying Marks :- The Minimum Qualifying Marks for
each Category will be as here under….
For Gen / OBC :- 38 %
For SC / ST :- 33 %
DESCRIPTIVE TEST- The candidates who qualifies OMR based
written test will appear in descriptive test. A separate call letter will be
issued to all qualified candidates by recruitment centre concerned to attend
the descriptive test as well Second phase.
FOR ASI/RM CANDIDATES:-
i) A Paper of maximum 200 marks
covering Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Electronics subject (12'h
standard/Diploma level)
FOR HC/RO CANDIDATES:- Candidates will be tested for two
categories as per following procedure:-
a) WRITTEN TEST
(DESCRIPTIVE PATTERN) :- A paper of maximum 100 marks covering Physics,
Chemistry & English ( I 2th Standard).
b) Dictation Test :-
Dictation Test (In English Writing) of Minimum 100 Words :-
100 Marks
Qualifying Marks :- Qualifying Marks for dictation test
will be as here under :-
For Gen / OBC :- 38 %
For SC / ST :- 33 %
Both above descriptive tests will be mandatory and the final
merit will be prepared on the marks obtained in these tests.
Evaluation /marking system of dictation test is as under: -
i. 2.5
Marks will be deducted for each omission/mistake of single letter.
ii. 5
Marks will be deducted for each word mistake/omission.
